An extensive 2D seismic has been completed and an initial 11-hole drilling program was completed in August 2012.

North Atlantic Potash is committed to exploration and mining activities that benefit all of our stakeholders. Our business was established in early 2008 through the acquisition of potash permits which have been evaluated in order to allocate the best locations for developing a potash mine.

We have completed extensive geological analysis on our leases and have identified areas for further development –the Albany Project southeast of Regina and the Foam Lake Project. While the former is suitable for solution mining, the latter is suitable for conventional mining.

Initial exploration and evaluation work has been completed at the Albany and Foam Lake Projects. This work consisted of extensive exploration drilling and 2D and 3D seismic surveys enabling us to complete a resource definition for both properties. Work continues on the Tier 1 Albany Project with our joint venture partner Rio Tinto Potash to evaluate a potential solution mining operation.
